Mariners Let One Slip Away

The Mariners go down in a defensive battle to the Wisconsin Ravens 12 -6.

The season opener at Ron Rubick Municipal field on Saturday featured the Mariners 15th season. 

Quarterback Marcos Alfaro II completed 12 of 24 passes for 161 yards, he also rushed six times for 29 yards that included a 5 yard touchdown run. 

Alfaro 's favorite target was #1 Austin Isley who hauled in six catches for 87 yards. 

Newcomer Dylon Williams rushed 8 times for 32 yards. 

#40 AJ Kopidlansky had 4 tackles and 2 assists to go along with his six rushes for 15 yards.

Defensive captain, linebacker #6 Andrew Hurlbert tallied 6 tackles and a pass defensed. Defensive back #28 Ethan Limon totaled 3 tackles and an interception.
